Recruitment of 8,539 posts in AP State Electricity
Boards has begun. State government of Andhra Pradesh has ordered
electricity boards to complete the recruitment procedure by April, 2012.
State Government has agreed for the recruitment of 6,263 posts
IN TRANSCO, GENCO, CPDCL, NPCDL, SPDCL and EPDCL in December, 2011
itself. Few electricity boards have also issued recruitment
notifications. GENCO is recruiting another 1775 junior plant attendant
posts. Another 110 junior assistant posts will also be recruited by
GENCO.
Higher officials have informed that notifications for 121 junior assistant posts and 342 fire men and security guards recruitment in GENCO will be issued in the first week of February, 2011. A written test will be conducted for Firemen posts and then physical tests will be conducted. Written test has already been held for Junior Plant Attendants and the merit list will be announced in the end of February, 2012.
